I finished the echo scarves. I quite like them and I am eager to keep trying some more echo technique.

Specs: The original draft is from Ingrid Boesel. It is available on handweaving.net #75797. I echo-ized it with 4 colors, red, yellow, emerald and cobalt. (8/2 cotton and 5/2 cotton.) The wefts are wine and yale blue, both 10/2 cotton. 8 shafts, 8 treadles

Photo of the two scarves each wound round itself in the middle and then hanging down as if it were worn around someone's neck. The pattern is less visible when viewed this way, and the color bleeds become the most visible aspect.

Photo of two handwoven scarves hanging over the back of the loom. You see about 1/3 of the bottom of each. They have a diagonal design that appears to have colors melting into each other. One is more red and appears to bleed from a dark wine red to orange to yellow to blue to purple. The other is more blue and appears to bleed from dark blue to lighter blue to yellow to purple.
