Something happened to me recently, and I don't mean to be dramatic, but it's truly a shameful thing.
Two days ago, I joined the writing platform #substack & even though @aral & @fabio told me it wasn't a good platform for me, being Palestinian, I decided to interact on it and post my poems there.
I was subjected to awful abuse in all verbal forms by Zionists there.
But I preferred to remain silent instead of arguing with any fools.
Today, the platform’s banned me!

Make nostr popular in your circles. It’s one of the few platforms (actually it’s more of a technology/protocol than a platform) that’s uncensorable.

I miss when we had our own blogs, developed connections organically, used RSS, etc. Now it's all Twitter analogues (X is a hellscape) or Facebook, and we're stuck with the algorithms.
But I'll hang in with you here. Can't offer much help, but I'm still with you, and everyone else.
(Not disparaging Mastodon; a fine alternative, working well.)
I will not subscribe to, nor support, any writer using Substack as their platform. I'm sorry you had to go through this.

I’m very very sorry that you got burned in the Nazi bar. But remember that there’s a reason why it’s the Nazi bar, and why minorities of any kind usually avoid it.
And it’s because there are people like Chris Best in charge that, when asked “I’m a brown person, would you moderate racial insults and threats against me?“ answer with the worst white-privileged mental contorsions about freedom of speech and self-moderation.
