@gedankenstuecke making, any kind of, edits offline is nothing new and mappers have made long treks for example in South America just occasionally updating their on device data.

@vespucci_editor Sure, but Vespucci only exists for Android and isn't exactly newcomer-friendly given the feature set, it's what OsmAnd is to CoMaps 😉
