We mourn the dead - and celebrate the living!
The 20th of November is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. On this day,
we remember those trans people that have died because of transphobic
violence. Unfortunately, it is still not possible for queer people in general
and trans people in particular to enjoy a peaceful life.

In everyday life, trans people experience hostility and are affected by
systematic discrimination. This, especially combined with the rise of right-
wing parties that openly agitate against queer people, is the reason why
trans people are often the victims of physical attacks and frequently
murdered.
We remember not only the deceased, but also their struggles. Struggles for
self-determination and for a life without discrimination and violence. We
carry on with these struggles!
+ the protection of queer people to be enshrined in the German
constitution!
+ stop the disclosure of old name and gender records - never again pink
lists!
+ that transphobic laws, especially in the penal system, be overhauled!
+ more education on queer topics, for example in curriculums and through training programs professional staff!
+ easier access to medical care for trans people!

Fight with us
For trans rights!
