The government of Iceland now considers this a national security threat. https://www.arctictoday.com/iceland-sees-security-risk-existential-threat-in-atlantic-ocean-currents-possible-collapse/
And the Foreign Intelligence Service of Germany together with other German institutions published a National Climate Risk Assessment this year.
Here is what it says about #AMOC tipping risk.

"The systems affected by tipping points include the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC), which includes the Gulf Stream system; if this system was weakened or even interrupted, Europe would face extreme winter cold and more winter storms, among other things. There is a chance that the AMOC tipping point may be passed and the system will start to collapse by the middle of the century. That would entail enormous consequences for social, political, economic and technical systems in the following decades."
