had to say bye to someone I once loved & respected.
found out they acted in a way that clashed with my values.
realized staying connected meant compromising what i stand for so i told them i was stepping away.
gave them closure, kept my peace.
integrity = honesty + boundaries, even when it costs you a relationship.
IMHO the right people never ask you to trade your values.
@Crissy Yes. And it's always the good thing to stay true to yourself. I've done the same with some folks.

@Crissy Certainly not. It's not worth the 'fight' with the other. It costs time and energy that's better spent in a positive way.
