I solved my I don't want to install uv to build servo, by ripping it out of the servo build scripts and replacing it with clunkier uses of venv.
Also building servo is so much faster & easier than firefox.
On an 11th gen i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz with 32 GB ram an a SSD it took 7 minutes 35 seconds to build.

Currently trying to figure out how to get the unit tests to run.
But I thought servo was intended to be embeddable. Which makes me wonder if servo might become a better option than webkitgtk for epiphany.
