Here's a list of Fediverse instances that are physically located in Canada. Of course, being physically located there doesn't necessarily mean it meets your criteria, and there are almost certainly servers that meet your criteria that are physically located outside the country. @rwg flipping.rocks might fall into the special interest with connection to canada category and I didn't see it listed. it's run by Nev who is located in canada and regularly posts pics of goth squirrels and things the rest of us elsewhere don't see on a regular basis

@rwg I went through your slide deck - I like it! Personally, I think the "servers of one" cadre of Canadians deserves some mention - and not because I want my dot on the map 😊 But rather, because we stand alongside our larger Canadian instance colleagues as full peers and partners in independence from mainstream foreign social media.

If nothing else, it's important to note and promote that community, in a fediverse context, can be as small as a neighborhood block, or even one house :)
