✊But at least you can tell it was made by humans.

🙏Still, I find myself returning to this strange language, and I think it’s because of the humility at its core.

@ChristosArgyrop There’s a reason I don’t look to Wired to learn about developer tools. I choose what programming language to use based on how well it facilitates me to express the logic and organization of the program I’m writing. Compared to more recent languages, Perl’s just not very good at that. Using Perl for new projects would be almost as nonsensical as using assembly language. That day has passed (and I’ve written very large projects in assembly language, emphasis on past tense).
