I urge people to not give their DNA to corporations. Once the corporation goes into receivership, the Nazis will buy your DNA data. Your entire family, including people you've never met, will become fodder for their racial animus, and will be targeted.

@steter And remember to regularly change your DNA to something that cannot be easily guessed.
@steter So hypothetically, if a close relative of mine does this test, does this expose my own DNA profile despite not having done the test at all?
@steter having just posted that I did 23 and Me in the past (I said recent but it wasn't), I can't boost this enough. I had very personal reasons to do it, and deleted the data immediately afterwards but I don't trust them to have deleted the data and now, years later, I regret the decision.
@steter I didn't even get the closure I had hoped for things that have followed me my whole life.
