Yesterday, the results came in for the end of high #school exam. Every year, this is a very big day for high school students, who finish high school. Every family has its own special traditions around this.
I passed my high school exam 4 years ago, in 2021.
Honestly, I wasn't happy with my result that day 😅 I got 80% in the science stream. Everyone was happy that day, but I wasn’t, because I deserved more than that 😅
But my brothers set off a lot of firecrackers, because they were very proud of me and very happy with me, and they wanted to celebrate their younger brother’s achievement. We distributed sweets to everyone. Many guests came over to say hi and to congratulate me. It was a very beautiful day, filled with happy memories, and it warms my heart to look back on it.
I wish I had photos to show you, but unfortunately, there's nothing left. All the pictures were gone when our house was bombed, those that were printed out as well as those that were on my phone, which I lost that day.
This day bears a special significance. All families are happy, in spite of the hardship and the cruelty of the war. Last year, students weren’t able to take their exams, so today, those students who were born in 2006 and 2007 received their results. People dance, people sing, sweets are distributed to everyone. It’s an immense source of pride for everyone, we all are delighted by this.
Some people in my family received their results! Three of my cousins’ daughters received excellent results yesterday: one received 83%, one received 89%, and one received 80%. They are the pride of our family, we are incredibly happy with them.
