Harrell's concession speech is gracious, but it's hard to forget the vile way he treats women. I really want to like the man, but the "she had help from her parents with childcare costs" attack really was the cherry on top of the misogyny sundae for me. There are so many ways to respond to that situation in a productive way as an incumbent mayor (eg: pledging more childcare support for ALL Seattle families regardless of income). It should not be used as a way to tear someone down.
