the lootinf isnt just the government thought. global private debt grows faster than global public debt. its because commercial banks print for capitalists ...and governments too.
its socialism for the top 1% by them printing the money we use. they will never change... but we can opt out. we need to stop using their money

@strypey The existing monetary system will never provide enough free and clear money (NOT credit, money) to pay for everything that is for sale. If the difference is made up in loans, loans do not create the money to pay the interest. So total debt must continuously increase or there is a crash.
You need a new monetary structure. Heinlein understood this (and a possible solution) in 1939 when he wrote For Us The Living. The people who understand it today are mostly profiting from it.

@serapath @strypey Bitcoin you say? It is lousy transaction money. It has intermediaries who charge high fees - much higher than conventional banking. It has limited bandwidth. Most of the plans for fixing that consist of building a fractional reserve banking system on top of it.
It exists for two reasons: crime, and people who think they will become the new elite by getting in early.
If Bitcoin is the best money that humans can create then humans do not have much of a future.

when it comes to scams/fraud/criminals, it seems all these pump and dump ponzis exist in "cRyPtO" a.k.a web3
bitcoin is quite transparent and easy to analyze compare to the rest, so it makes it quite inconvenient for criminals to use, unlike our traditional money, which hasnt with its offshore shadow banks that hasnt stopped criminals in the slightest and makes it much easier imho.
why do you say btc in particular would be useful for criminals - makes no sense imho
oh and regarding transactions.
bitcoin is meant for everyone being able to participate and if thr main chain becomes too large, people cant run nodes anymore and thus it gets centralized.
for every day transactions, bitcoin scales by using the so called "lightning network", which is self custodial as well, so no intermediaries here either. The lightning network scales perfectly well imho.
lastly, bitciins distribution is fairer than any other (shit)coin, most of them with ICOs or premine or some other form of investors getting in early. Any coin that gets made today suffers the same issue, because capitalists are aware now.
bitcoin is the only one that didnt have an ICO or premine or anything else and launched before capitalists really figured it out
