It did look quite impressive an #aurora tonight, however the usual Vancouver clouds had to steal the show.

Also, I took this photo facing *SOUTH*. I know it looks like light pollution reflecting off the cloud layer, but it's not a very thick layer (you can spot a star through it near the top edge of the frame). This is probably the red curtain that lots of people witnessed further south in the US. As soon as the green/red bands I was seeing towards north faded, so did this glow. #aurora
