There isn't a world where I was able to do this without the help of so many others. From the love and encouragement of my family and friends, to the extremely generous support of my Patrons and the community that's grown on my discord, to the comic artists l've come to know over the years, and even just the kind passing comments - ah heck even the unkind ones, too. Not to mention my wife and daughter and their otherworldly patience putting up with the nontrivial time commitment this comic takes (we make it work but I don't pretend it's without sacrifice on their end). This milestone is as much your fault as it is mine, and I couldn't be more grateful. It has been a privilege to be able to do this for the past 10 years. God willing, I'll stay at this for a whole lot longer. Thank you so much for reading.

So the first comic I posted to my website was November 11, 2015 - 10 years to the day. When I started doodling on those bumpy MBTA trains way back when, I couldn't have imagined that it would turn into... this. I wasn't even sure I could stick with something this long. Not only was this a much needed creative outlet for my otherwise very analytical and data-driven professional life, it quickly (and unexpectedly) became a genuine passion. It's a surreal feeling to believe something is missing in the world and having the hubris to put it out there, but for the past ten years, that's more or less what l've been doing. I hope, probably foolishly, that this hobby of mine helps make the world a less shitty place to be. I like to believe it does for me, at least, and that's not nothing.
