Not only can you request more details, but you can also create reusable templates to request more details, and the prospective applicant is sent an email with the details and a special link to respond.

@dansup The “request more info” is broken (at least for me on the smaller server). The mail is sent, but the link in the mail leads nowhere… https://github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed/issues/6199
@dansup Nevermind, user error. I tested it locally and opened the link to add more info in a window already signed into a pixelfed account. Opening the link in a private window works.
@grosser_mensch yeah i was going to say I tested this feature extensively before shipping it ;)
