After the battery in my work laptop started inflating, I had to fall back on using an 8-year-old Thinkpad X270 for a few days, and what can I say: it works just fine for 95% of work tasks, probably because it a) has 16 GB RAM and b) is running Ubuntu 24.04 instead of Microsoft Bloatware (TM). 馃し
