Trump Falls For Satire From Site Called ‘The Dunning Kruger Times’

I have no trouble believing this, as it fits my observations of Orange Stalin's loose grip on reality (to put it politely). But I note that it's also because it confirms my biases.

AFAICT the TechDirt article doesn't link to the Lies Social post in question. Which means I can't easily check that it was actually posted there. The sort of due diligence we all need to be doing more often.

I presume the reason TD didn't link to the OP was to avoid driving traffic to Lies.Social, potentially exposing the unwary to the cognitive equivalent of radioactive waste. But we know that fake screenshots can be whipped up with a quick prompt, and I think it's worth making it quick and easy to fact-check claims that fit our biases.

If you don't want to drive traffic to toxic sites, maybe just don't post clickbait articles about posts there?
