Apparently the Senate will not complete work tonight toward ending the shutdown even with the cooperation of some traitorous Democratic senators who should begin planning alternative jobs outside of politics. This means that tomorrow (remember, Tuesday is a holiday) is THE DAY to tells ALL of these senators how you feel about their abandoning the millions of Americans who need health care, not a useless health care vote. MAKE SURE THEY HEAR FROM YOU!

They don't give a warm crap. Their party doesn't give a warm crap. Americans needed to change their non-functioning one-party system 50 years ago, eliminating the Democratic Party and replacing it with an oppostion party. Now it's too late.

@lauren I guess New Hampshire thinks living free is either losing your house to medical costs or dying. And being homeless in a New England winter is another way to die. So maybe your new slogan should just be "die."

@lauren Today I learned, thanks to you and Emacs, that Tuesday is Shemini Atzeret. It doesn't appear to be a Federal Holiday, but I can see why it would not be the best day to call D.C. offices.
