The number & wealth of billionaires was sharply jacked up by angry racists who are still in a backlash against Civil Rights. Most white voters and non-black people of color shifted into the GOP and started cutting taxes on billionaires & corporations after Civil Rights. They're doing this to concentrate wealth & opportunity away from black people, even though it hurts they themselves.

Don't give them the out of a pathology (especially that one, hoarders are often extremely kind and generous, they just have a problematic emotional relationship with "stuff").
Billionaires OTOH are greedy fucks who want money because it equals power in our culture, and then they can make people do what they want and they never have to suffer consequences.
And they know it, and they don't care.
Good points. The person I know with a hoarding disorder is so generous that she neglects her own health to give to other people. I have to remind her that she needs to care for the caregiver, or else the caregiver won't be physically able to continue giving.
