All my 'digital' #music on #bandcamp is now a 'pay what you want' model.

It's become apparent over the past 3 yrs that discovery is now the biggest barrier for independent musicians.
Its also apparent that 'listening' to music has the same social/commercial value as water. Its now simply a commodity that everyone expects as cheaply as possible, if not free.
why price something that isn't being found

How I feel about my own music is a complete irrelevance to its value

How strongly I feel about my own music, how much it took out of me emotionally, how much of myself I shared in the lyrics, how bloody good I think the songs are, all of its meaningless as music is now just a commodity, and the stores are saturated with too much choice and so few people actually care
