@stefano another 90s treasure! ☺️

Here's the official process to follow:

- download everything, generate copies
- add to archive.org where useful
- generate checksums index for archive
- take selfie + thumbs up, print on archival paper
- add selfie photo to the archive directory
- tar full-lot to LTO and place into time capsule
- rent rowboat, buy sunscreen, rowing gloves
- leave Italian shores, don't forget the dolmas
- adventure to eastern Mediterranean
- bury capsule on the island of Crete
- eat dolmas, take nap

@stefano Look deeper in the hierarchy, you might as well find some SoundBlaster or hauppauge PCTV device driver. #longTimeNoSee

@stefano A some point my children will dig and find some files of this kind. They might as well find the offline Wikipedia ZIM files i tend to download from time to time, to keep the memories of a certain pre-IA area alive. I just read some post from Eva W about time capsules. Inspirational.

@stefano what's wrong with 1998? That year was full of bangers like Half Life and SEGA Rally 2.

@skyglobe there's nothing wrong with it. I wasn't expecting to find those old files there, that's all.

@stefano too bad that cheap late 90s floppy disks were as reliable as a random guy met in a back alley, otherwise I could claim to have data from the same era.

@skyglobe that's why I started burning those files in the late 90ies - I think I still have some files from the early 90ies (not many, to be honest)
