Photograph of Acropolis sculptures in the British Museum. In front of the pieces two young people are sitting on a bench with their backs to the camera. They are wearing winter coats and are carrying handbags and a leather rucksack. One has her head down as if looking at a phone. The other is looking at the sculptures. The shape of the hood on her coat echoes the shape of stone drapery, the bottom of the figure's dress on its upturned leg, on the sculpture in front of her. The three sculptures are missing heads and one arm and hand each. A frieze of sculptural reliefs runs on the wall behind them. British Museum, London, UK, 10 November 2016. Photo Cindy Kohtala
