Three years ago, I decided to quit Twitter and install a Mastodon server to see if it can replace it for me. It worked better than expected and I discoered so many new amazing people along the way.
I would also never have imagined that I could end up recruiting and leading the team building it!
What an adventure, and we are only getting started ✨

@renchap You started around the same time I did. I set up the Thirring mastodon servers when I thought Twitter was going to collapse completely. Never looked back.
We’ve got a vibrate community of small floof lovers and the occasional physicist :)
