The US has been shut down for 38 days, and there is still no end in sight.
Democrats will not vote for the next budget unless healthcare is included, and the Trump regime will not pay for healthcare, because then they do not have money for the tax breaks, which Trump’s billionaire donors want.
I wonder how the US Presidential elections had gone, had the American people known that Kamala ran to be leader of government, while Trump ran to be leader of a shut down government.
@randahl sooner they will bend, soon they saved so much money that they can pay for the healthcare and still have billionaires tax cuts and payouts.
@randahl at this point I do not think there can be a soltion other than a coup. The moment to starve large groups of your civilists and additionally your military, you risk large groups to unify. USAmerican government has turned the country into a rogue state and is acting as terrorists inside and outside the country. It is only a small step for the population to act as one too.
@randahl I'm afraid it would have gone roughly the same way - because even for his first run, a significant number of Trump voters thought taking a gold-plated sledgehammer to that dang gub'mint would be a good thing, and they probably still think so & believe Dems are trying to hold them back from tearing the bad one down to build A Good One™️ (caveat emptor). Unless they're on SNAP & now starving, they still don't think he's doing anything wrong. It helps (him) that the press also don't.
