@dgar Some people in the US pronounce it Boo-ee apparently.
They did on Star Trek TNG and it took me a while to realise they meant buoy.
@lydiaconwell @dgar and some (not me though, I'd never say it) say "buoyancy" as "boo-ee-ancy".
