A few blocks away from the Amanita muscaria cluster is this beautiful forest path, carpeted in yellow leaves. If you zoom in to the background, you can see that the path continues on to Narnia, or maybe The Shire, because it’s a bit dark from the shadow of the evergreen trees but also illuminated by daylight filtering through, and it looks absolutely magical.

A view of the Amanita muscaria cluster from above (the green grass, yellow leaves, and red mushrooms make for a very nice contrast!) with my feet (I’m U.S. size 5.5 so 22.5 cm) right next to a particularly huge one. Wow, it’s almost bigger than my feet!!

A whole cluster of Amanita muscaria!! (The classic red-capped white-spotted mushrooms, which are very hallucinogenic.) These are some real beautiful specimen, growing on green grass among bright yellow fallen leaves.
