Golden autumn is slowly fading as we move deeper into November. The majority of my travels are done, with one big task still open to complete next week. But I already embrace the changes I’ve made since summer. When I look out of my window, I don’t see parked cars and tall house fronts with barely any sky anymore. I see trees in the fog, red leaves in the garden, and on a clear day, the massive mountain range of the Alps from my bedroom.
I left the city with millions of people in favor of a small village. And that makes me feel not being alone anymore.
In a way, it feels like being here in the fediverse - leaving the millions of people on big-tech social media behind and instead hanging out with a handful of lovable folks here on these open platforms.
Shrinking it down to the core to flourish. To grow again and do what feels right for me.
To be me again.
