Thoughts on making a game in CGA (usually 4 colours at 320x200 pixels):

* The magenta and cyan palette was ugly by 1990 but feels fresh in 2025. Colour combinations really do go in and out of fashion.

* It's a lot of fun making games for low resolution. A pleasant chunky feel and forces really considered UI choices.

* Good CGA art is hard. I think I did OK but lots of solid blocks of colour. A lot of the beauty of CGA is in dithering.

* I cheated on framerates
