@impermanen_ It is good that you discuss these things with them.
@impermanen_ I mean, they have a point.
@impermanen_
They are good at maths, everybody knows
@impermanen_ this here is the truth according to animals
They are better guard donkeys than horses. Right up there with llamas and alpacas, and geese.
@huntingdon so they deserve EVEN MORE than the horse gets. Yes, this is what I’m hearing, too. I ask them if they intend to simply crush the bears and wolves under the sheer weight of their gigantic bellies and they just stare at me, pretending not to understand.
I should have said watch animal, rather than guard animal, though no one should want to be within striking distance of a mule or donkey's lethal kick.
@huntingdon interesting note to add here: donkeys certainly do kick but their keen sense of justice applies to their own use of force as well. If you’re simply being annoying, you might get an “air kick” not intended to make contact. If you continue to be a pest, a tiny tap or a very precise near miss. They have amazing millimeter-level of control. Only if you’re really posing a danger will they haul off and pummel the living daylights out of you.
@impermanen_ They aren’t wrong 😝
@Bowreality I think Manuel has what it takes to do it! 😂
