I’m sorry I’m being so sweary lately but we as a people shouldn’t be massacring people in boats, holding the coats of genocidists, kidnapping people and sending them to countries they have no connection with, running concentration camps for kids, sending masked arm men to beat citizens in the streets, taxing working people trillions of dollars and giving tax breaks to billionaires, denying people prescribed medicine on religious grounds, or countenancing this giant protection racket. Fuck that.

@Cdespinosa It's really *hard* to legally disobey an order, unless it's "obviously grossly illegal." You'd think killing civilians in boats would fall under that, so I asked a serving soldier. He said that since command has a legal justification (even thought it's bullshit, and they all know it), it becomes a legal order.
That said, I still don't think I could pull the trigger on a non-combatant civilian, even if I ended up in Leavenworth.
