I wish there was a super progressive socialist, like Mamdani, brave enough to challenge colonial capitalist status quo, who we could vote for here on every level - municipal, provincial & federal. We are given almost all only status quo keepers for our election candidate choices, for many years. It's led to more voter apathy & more distrust of governments, in general.

There's still too many fools, who are egotistical enough to believe they're able to convince current neoliberals into becoming more socialist friendly. All those fools will end up getting poostains around their mouths for trying too hard to asskiss status quo keepers, who still benefit from colonial government corruption.
I'm keeping a running count with ethnicities marked for this status quo marking - for BC.
So far it's 60% white, 10% Indigenous, 10% East Indian, 10% South East Asians & 10% unidentified ethnic background.
I don't take advice from neoliberal asskissers, ever. If you're truly #AntiFascist - you'd understand why those folks aren't to be trusted, no matter how friendly they've been, prior or now. They aren't gonna help you over their neoliberal politician pals. They aren't gonna put their privileged asses on any frontlines for you or other marginalized folks either.
Yet, they will choose to bend, buck over & let neoliberals abuse you - while still telling people online that they care a lot about marginalized folks.
Don't buy that whitewashed cowardice. It's a personal choice to be cowardly.
Socialism costs less than capitalism, with more benefits for citizens & less benefits for mega rich. I automatically distrust any political candidates who are trying to protect corrupted status quo, capitalist driven systems, which harm humanity & only helps out a tiny percentage of overly privileged people.
I also tend to drop respect for folks, really fast - when any candidate heavily campaigns with socialist values & policies, wins & then loses courage to keep fighting against status quo keepers.
