River Action are taking OFWAT to court in an action many of us will sympathise/agree with.

They claim that recent OFWAT price rise agreements with the water companies are allowing the water firms to bill customers twice for environmental measures;

these should have been paid for by bill-payers funds in the past, but cash was siphoned off into dividends, and so demands for funding now are a duplicated charge for work already (supposedly) funded by bill-payers!
