Practicing #spinning. It’s becoming something I do when I want to zone out for a moment, usually in the evening. I still haven’t purchased any carding combs (although I think I will at some point) and I’m working with the short-fiber native cotton I grew, so it’s a bit challenging but I like it.

In the same way that working with clay needn’t be a consumer hobby, I’m seeing how far I can get with just this homemade spindle. #fiberarts #handmade #crafts
