That's a laudable goal, but if we want to get there, we must start with *predistribution*: halting the companies' ongoing extraction efforts, by getting rid of the laws that prevent other technologists from unfucking their products and halting their cash- and data-ripoffs.

Do that long and hard enough and we stand a real chance of draining off so much of their power that we *can* get moving on those redistributive moves.
