For anyone going to Paris, the Gallery of Paleontology and Comparative Anatomy is frankly, a spiritual experience in a truly beautiful setting.
Pictures really cannot do it justice. Walking among the 100s (1000s ?) of skeletons, from whales down to tiny bats, reading the neat, handwritten labels, and feeling the majesty and variety of evolution combined with a human connection to the generations of careful researchers and curators.
It is awe inspiring.
