So the last time #America 🇺🇸 tested a nuke was in 1992‽

Also, has anyone fact checked claims by #Putin about their nuclear powered drone that is 100 times smaller than a regular nuclear reactor‽

#Russia 🇷🇺 can build those now‽

I'm not a nuclear bombologist by any means, but from what I have read, the nuclear bombs used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were minos compared to the modern versions. That in itself is a concern. How much of the planet could be annihilated with a flick of a switch, push of a button, isn't worth thinking about.
I suppose that's why they are referred to as a deterrent.

I was hoping I had misread. Not a pretty end to a race for extinction. Who's the winner?

@darnell You just know they are going to hurry a nuke test along for a photo op and it probably will put a lot of people at risk. We know how things end up that the Trump Admin hurries along for a photo op for the dear leader.

@paul That is my worry as well. Plus, many experienced people have been fired from the Department of Energy, which means we have less knowledgeable minds working to ensure these (unnecessary) tests are safe to the public.
