Vague posting to protect privacies.

A friend recently teased me about avoiding Covid. "People aren't really dying of that any more..." My response: "Mostly we just stopped writing that as the cause of death." He shrugged.

Week later, different friend. His wife: fighting bad cancer. She got pneumonia and #Covid. Went to hospital. Things went downhill, there. She's gone now.

I'm sure it doesn't say Covid on her death certificate.

I'm also sure community apathy around Covid shortened her life.
