I don’t want to be liked. I want to be real.
I used to play it safe. Fit in. Smile politely. Post for tags and optics.
Now? I’m done with that.
I left FB, IG, and skipped TikTok. I live on the #OpenWeb — the #fediverse — where people show up as they are. No filters. No fake vibes.
As a bi femme founder, I’m loud now. Proud now. I build things. I care deeply. I treat people with love. But I don’t care if I’m liked. I care if I’m real.
Being a builder is lonely. You chase dreams while others chase likes. You show up for community, while some show up for photo ops.
I’ve lost people. Real ones. So while I’m here, I’ll be colourful. Honest. Alive.
True friendship as an adult is rare. When it shows up? Magic.
Not here to be liked. Just here to be me.
Do you feel lonely building something that matters?
