@rbreich I would be very pleased if their companies all went straight to hell.
As in they were burned till nothing was left even a hollow base.
@rbreich
But that's exactly what Trump supporters just don't get.
No matter how often I've discussed this with Trump honks on social media, the answer is always the same: Trump has money, it doesn't cost taxpayers anything...
They just don't understand Trump's principle of having everything financed by sponsors so that it doesn't cost the state anything, but the contracts, tax breaks, etc. that the sponsors receive cost taxpayers infinitely more than what the sponsors invest.
Yes. Those corporations are buying much more than a ballroom. They will also end up paying a lot more than $300 million. My guess is that this thing will cost at least $500 million.
@rbreich They can pay for the restoration of the east wing when the ball room is torn down after the orange Mussolini is gone.
@rbreich The Badische Anilin- und Sodafabriken of our time.
@rbreich please call it Epstein Ballroom instead of Trump Ballroom.
Thank you.

@rbreich pretty sure that the word you're looking for is "bribe".
@rbreich But.. but.. that would be.. illegal..
Throne Room for the Pedo, worse than the Lannisters. Game of Thrown Against the Wall.
@rbreich It’s the Bribery Wing of the White House.
@rbreich I come from the eastern zone. There was also a lot of megalomania, overconfidence, and vanity there. But Trump's latest quirk surpasses many things.
It's unclear to me why anyone would vote for him or his gang. (But I ask myself the same question about the AfD in Germany. )
@rbreich
And none of those have got a ¢ from me for many, many years.

They're not just buying a ballroom.
They're buying Trump's favor to get massive federal
contracts, protect their power, and avoid
accountability when they harm the public.
@rbreich Will they have ads in the new wing?
