#WritersCoffeeClub 25 Oct: Does 'destiny' have a role in modern fiction?

Personally, I prefer subverting it, but yes, of course. Any and every storytelling tool in existence "has a place" in fiction, modern or otherwise.

"Modern" is such an elastic word. People usually mean "current," but it's also a distinct era of art, and separately, an era of history.
