finished by adding this lovely background as was in the photograph I used for my reference. really impressed at how it accentuates the face. I think this one is good enough to display. still need to work on my drawing though, and one challenge I faced with this one is mobile screen size ref up to A3 size portrait is lossy.

I've also started my first drawing construction of the next one queued up, which happens to be one of my Mastodonian volunteers! looking good so far. I intend to start my first wash layer tomorrow night, get some colours down.
I am doing A4 size for this one, to restrain my ambition and allay some of the size differential pains from using a small phone screen size reference photograph.
