#WritersCoffeeClub Oct 23: Have you ever written a story-within-a-story?

Sort of. The protagonist in my novella is a folk hero, and she's subjected to a bard singing her own origin story back at her, but it's *wildly* inaccurate, so hearing the bard get it wrong is the frame, and she recedes into her own memories of what really happened. I had to do that because I'd already written her origin story as a standalone.
