I had to use the internet without ad block for 5 min the other day in order to test something. How does anyone surf the web without ad blocking? I would go insane! Seriously, I'd probably just keep off the majority of sites and I'm fucking addicted to the internet. What the actual hell?

I may have a partial answer for that : APPS !
*Lots* of people use apps instead of websites, and in most apps (eg. Facebook, TikTok...) ads are integrated in their "content" timeline, so most people do not really see them as ads.
So they don't usually bother to have an adblock installed in their rarely-used browsers.
@sebsauvage @AimeeMaroux even if they use browsers, they don't know they can block ads with a plug-in. Most of them think that's how websites are done. And they dont even ask themselves if it could be orherwise
