It’s hard to call this “inspiring” when the reality tells a very different story. The UAE ranks 65th in the global Climate Change Performance Index, rated very low for emissions, renewables, and energy use — while actively increasing oil and gas production. 1)

Genuine environmental progress doesn’t come from glossy conferences or PR targets and wooing climate 'experts' like yourself — it comes from transparency, accountability, and actually cutting fossil fuel dependence. 2)
@kathhayhoe Many Arab states talk about sustainability while doubling down on the very industries heating their own region twice as fast as the global average and inflicting atrocious standards of living on the inhabitants of the region. That’s not leadership — it’s greenwashing and you should be embarrassed promoting it. 🔚
