@ricmac any kind of screenshots on here. From Bluesky, Twitter, anywhere. I'll never boost anything like that, and I'm not a fan when people do it 😂
I have to add, I was half-joking here…I don’t really get upset about this kind of stuff. BUT I do think it’s disrespectful to ignore the norms of an online community. Someone noted to me that it’s probably the social media team of this person at fault. Either way, it’s offputting and definitely undermines the messages he’s posting here (IMHO). Web values matter, people should respect them — especially on a genuinely open web platform like Mastodon.
@ricmac If it’s the person I think it is, they used to cross-post just fine, without the screenshots. I don’t know why that changed.
