Suited up for the first cold morning working in the backyard hammock.
@pluralistic For that chilly morning commute, I stay cozy with the Antifa Signature® Balaclava, free with every membership!
You look very cozy. I didn't think it got that cold in Burbank. As a person who enjoys your work, thank you for making the sacrifice.
@pluralistic I'm still a little disappointed that "enshittification" caught on but "hammockmaxing" didn't.
@pluralistic Nice Kapiushon from the Arrowverse outfit
@pluralistic Reminds me of the one time I tried super-light backpacking with a wetsuit instead of a tent.
@pluralistic : but isn’t that breaking the open source social contract to post this on Mastodon? Is it ISO at all to work in such condition ?
@pluralistic Wow. I love that furry suit! What's that called/where do you get such a thing?
@calicoday Not sure! It was an Xmas gift from my wife last year. Broadly, it's part of a category of garments called "survival suits."
@pluralistic Great prezzie. It's awesome. 😸
@pluralistic gives WFH a whole new dimension
@pluralistic There's the next book jacket photo.
@pluralistic I'm interested to know why though - like I get working outside when it's nice, but having to prep to do it seems like you're getting less benefits
@m1ke It's marvelous. Fresh air, birdsong, critters - squirrels, possums, cats, foxes, raccoons, parrots, crows and ravens - and a gorgeous sunrise every morning over the neighbors' palm trees. Plus it is great for my messed-up pelvis and chronic pain to work at this angle.
@pluralistic @m1ke woah, giving me some real ideas when I get a backyard. Don't use my hammock often enough!
@pluralistic I am envious of your working conditions! 😁
@pluralistic Stop spamming me! 😛
@pluralistic OMG.
I would love to see the surprised faces of your neighbors.
@pluralistic should we expect today' posts to have some extra spiciness, the kind only the cold weather can afford?
@pluralistic how are you keeping your fingers warm and dextrous though?
