@halvar @cwebber @ifrik The other replies I am seeing are missing the point.

I'll concede that urging folks to abandon one service provider without explicitly offering a satisfactory alternative, which requires acknowledging the need being satisfied, isn't very persuasive.

But that doesn't make all the self-evident points on that slide untrue or irrelevant.

They are all true *in practice*, regardless of the theoretical configuration possibilities. If you believe otherwise, then I am certain you have not actually used Tor or a VPN lately.
