If you're looking into eSIMs for international travel, I just tried Holafly (saw it advertised in many places) for my trip to Japan, and it was both much cheaper, and more performant, that using my Chilean data by allowing data roaming.
If you'd like to get an Holafly eSIM for you, you can save some money, and I'd also get a 5% discount if you use this referral link: http://rwrd.io/c8un2lr
When I have travelled to Europe or the USA the roaming allowance included in my plan (4GB per invoice period) has been enough, and have never needed an eSIM until now, because the price for the roaming in Japan was much higher (and not included in my plan). I ended up using just 1GB of data over 7 days, but knowing that usage was unlimited, and at a reasonable price, made all the difference.
ps. I think indicating that this message is a referral code for something is a great usage of Content Warnings; people interested can read on, and those who are not are not bothered.
