i need a google keep alternative, really badly and would deeply appreciate recs.
absolutely mandatory:
* sync between android and windows (firefox, vivaldi, if browser)
* LIST / CHECKLIST FEATURE with nesting!
* as private as is reasonable considering my needs/wants 
* free / low cost / one time <10usd
* will not toss my notes into the gaping maw of an LLM
ideal features:
* as visually simple as possible, no rich text, just. a damn note pad
* pinning notes
* loosely categorizing notes in some way (tags? maybe a flat directory where i don't have to click thru?? idk i don't want things hidden behind folders...)
please be kind, i'm not a computer toucher. i have almost no idea what i'm doing
